Launching My eBay Store

Welcome to my craft blog, for all those visiting from eBay! I've been working hard at my "day job" (daycare provider to four rambunctious little boys and my baby girl), so the craft blog is coming along slowly. But I have big plans for it! You can bet that I will be featuring many wonderful projects here, and as soon as I figure out how to post download links, I will posting free downloads of Pazzles Inspiration (a revolutionary electronic die cutter) cutting files, such as the cute snowman newletter card you see here along with the snowflake photo mat, so you can make your own great projects, using my designs!!

I am also working hard behind the scenes getting my eBay store, Becky's Craftroom up and running, by designing my store pages, and ordering supplies. There will be tons of paper available, from Bazzil Basics, My Mind's Eye, Basic Grey, Chatterbox, and more! I love stamping and cardmaking, so there will also be ink stamp pads, stamps, and many of the basic supplies you need such as paper trimmers, Mono adhesive, Glue Dots, and more! I made the time to post Pazzles items in my store these past few weeks, because Pazzles is offering such a great deal at this time on a new Pazzles Inspiration, with free shipping and a $40 mail-in rebate. Walkin' (Stampin') In A Winter Wonderland

I did it! I finally got the first batch of projects done! "First batch?!" you say. Yes, I have ideas for so many cute cards, I just can't stick to the few I did. It's silly, but I spent hours and hours learning how to use that electronic diecutter, so while no one at church signed up for my card class (what?!), at least I made myself learn how to use my cool new toy, so we can all play next Friday!! The trouble will be limiting myself to what will fit in my van!! I wonder what it costs to rent a little trailer from U-Haul... (you think I'm kidding)

Here goes -

Snowmen Card - newsletter style
$1.25 each - newsletter style, $1.10 each - card style

Flip up the front, and this is the next view.

Flip this layer to the left, and you see the newsletter.
On the left of the newsletter is the family photo. This card is my favorite! I learned the most making the photomat and the oval ribbon tags on this one.

Nativity Card - $0.75 each or $0.95 each for newsletter style

Easy Sticker Thank-You Cards - $0.25 each
These are about 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".

Cellophane treat bags - $0.20 each

Oh, if you want any color changes (like burgandy & gold thank-you cards, etc.), or any changes otherwise, let me know, and I'd be glad to make them! And don't forget that the envelopes come with the cards, even though they aren't pictured here.

Pulling An All-Nighter

Yes, you realize this means that I NEVER went to bed last night! I had a brief nap on the floor of my craftroom, but I am carrying on! But I conquered the mongo learning curve of my electronic diecutter, finished my first, and biggest, project, and am now seriously picking up speed. I've got until 1pm!

Card Class Sign-Ups

Good morning ladies! I just got my big die shipment in last night, so I will be crafting all day, and posting projects here as I complete them, so stay tuned!

Cards - we will be doing a snowman card, a snowflake card, a nativity card, a thank-you card, and perhaps more.

Ornaments - we will be doing a cute photo frame ornament.

Neighbor/VT gifts - we will have cute treat boxes, both large and small, as well as cellophane treat bags with tags.

Please check here throughout the day, but I probably won't get most of them posted until later tonight.

Boy, after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, I feel renewed and ready to craft again!! I am putting together a card-making class for my local church group, so that's keeping me busy for now. I am still planning on auctioning off most of my older dies and craft supplies on eBay, and I will introduce new kits, too, if I can.

New Beginnings from a Craftaholic

I am starting this blog as a companion to my eBay store. We'll see how it goes from there. I have always been tickled pink by nearly every type of craft project to come along (quilting, tole painting, sewing, scrapbooking, cardmaking, crocheting, woodworking, etc.), and have had more fun buying craft supplies than in completing projects. After twenty years of this behavior, I decided to do an intervention on myself, and clear out all the old stuff. I've given boxes of things away to friends, and have now narrowed my interests down to card-making and scrapbooking. Oh, and how could I forget? Blogging is my new passion, and the good news is that it only costs me time!

I hope you find inspiration here from the paper projects I post, and find ideas of how to complete your own projects, instead of letting the dust collect on them.
